Ann's strong suit is personal good taste. She has high standards in
everything she does; the way she lives and the way she relates to
people. Her own home setting is perfection. It expresses her and it
offers comfort to everyone who enters.
Ann's work is warm and alive. There are personal and sentimental
touches. Also a high sense of appropriateness -- "rightness".
She has keen insight into personalities and what her clients most enjoy.
She brings their enjoyment forward into their surroundings. Her focus is
what her clients think, prefer and enjoy. Enjoyment is the keynote...not
what she thinks.
Often her clients understand themselves even better after they work
with Ann. She makes a space for every person. She makes sure everyone is
the family is accommodated when she designs. Ann believes in the family
using their own home and enjoying every inch of it. She gathers
information to be sure she is on the same wavelength as the client. A
true partnership develops. Of course she handles the workload, but when
she has a knowledgeable client who wants to be involved, she is
delighted. Aside from her very cosmopolitan life existence and
viewpoints, her strongest suit is color. Ann is noted for her color.
Ann comes from an extremely distinguished and strong family, herself.
She grew up on a gracious plantation in South Carolina. She is used to
entertaining effortlessly. She makes sure everything she does is done
from that viewpoint. She extends that to clients and is accustomed to
doing things graciously. She does everything to the highest denominator.
She is not pretentious and is very much appreciated by her clientele.
